  2. Prepare 1/2 cup of palm oil.
  3. It's 3 tablespoon of potash water.
  4. You need 1/2 cup of ugba.
  5. You need 1 of onion bulb.
  6. It's 2 of scotch bonnet.
  7. Prepare 3 of seasoning cube.
  8. You need 1 tablespoon of crayfish.
  9. Prepare 1/2 tablespoon of ground pepper.

It is made with dried shredded cassava(Abacha) and fermented oil bean seeds(Ugba or Ukpaka). Wash your dry fish in warm water and soak it in salty. Abacha is an Eastern Nigeria dish made using dried shredded cassava, which can be eaten as a snack or a full meal. There are many variations to the way this salad is made.

  1. Prepare all your ingredients.
  2. Pour hot boiling water over your Abacha and allow for 5 mins..
  3. In a pot, put palm oil then add potash water and stir (remember not to turn on heat at this stage) until thickened.
  4. Then add ugba, dry fish and seasoning cube.
  5. Add garden eggs and Abacha and mix together..
  6. For the kpomo, cook kpomo until soft. Then in a pan, add oil, add onions and then add grated pepper mix (tomatoes, scotch bonnet, onions, tattashe, shombo, garlic).
  7. Add seasonings and cover and allow for 2 mins. Then add cooked kpomo and stir. Cover and allow for 5 mins.
  8. Garnish with onions, Utazi leaves, garden egg and any other thing. Serve and enjoy😋.
