Ingredients of Bhapa Potato

1. You need 16 piece of small potato.
2. You need 2 tsp of mustard oil.
3. You need 1/2 tsp of five spices.
4. You need 2 of dry red chilli.
5. You need 1 tbsp of mustard paste.
6. It's 1 tbsp of hung curd.
7. It's 2 tbsp of coconut paste.
8. It's 1 tsp of green chilli paste.
9. It's Pinch of turmeric powder.
10. You need of Salt as per taste.
11. It's 1 tsp of lemon juice.
12. You need of Banana leaf for wrap.

Bhapa Potato instructions

1. Peel the potatoes and par boil them in salted water, drain and keep aside..
2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add the five spice mixture, break the red chillies in half and stir the spices around till they splutter..
3. Pour this over the potatoes and put aside..
4. In a mixing bowl prepare a marinade with the mustard paste, curd, coconut paste, green chilli paste and turmeric powder, whip it well..
5. Gently mix the potatoes into this marinate..
6. Add the salt and lemon juice, mix again..
7. Put the potatoes on a steel plate, cover with the banana leaves and steam them for 6-8 minutes. Serve hot..
