  6. Prepare 1/2 tsp of Cumin seeds.
  7. It's 1/2 tsp of Coriander seeds crushed.

  10. You need 500 gm of Oil for deep fry.
  11. Prepare 2 tbsp of Oil.

  26. You need 1/2 tsp of Baking soda.

Batata Vada step by step

  1. For Stuffing- Boiled and mashed the potato..
  2. Heat oil in a pan add mustared seeds,cumin seeds,crushed Coriander,curry leaves and satue..
  3. Add onion and satue well then add ginger,green chilli and again satue.add cashew nuts and roasted..
  4. Add salt,termeric powder,red chilli powder,garam masala powder and satue well..
  5. Add boiled and mashed potato and satue and add Coriander leaves and mix it and add lime juice and mix..
  6. Making Batter In a large mixing bowl add 1 cup gram flour,cornflour,salt,termeric powder,red chilli powder, ajwain and mix it..
  7. Add water as required and mix it and making a smooth paste..
  8. Add oil and baking soda and mix well..
  9. For deep fry - Heat oil in a deep pan..
  10. Take a alu stuffing and making a ball size and coat the batter and deep fry on the hot oil..
  11. Stir continousely and turned a golden brown then switch off the gas..
  12. Garnished with curry leaves and ketchup..
